Driving past my school brings loads of memories along.Little girls playing games just like we did on the very same spot - "Tree to tree" , Dodge -ball.. or just running around the cycle stand.
What wouldn’t I give to loiter around the corridors just as we did before.
To stand by the cycle stand and wait for rickshaw.
Or to sit studying under that huge tree before exams.
How I miss running on the ground in games period.
And banging the desk in the class.
Or making line for the assembly.
Remember that ‘one hand distance’.
And ‘toe tapping exercises’
Or the ‘Silence bell’
Do you still know ‘Our Father’
And ‘We give thee’
Also ‘Bhagwan tu hi mera…’
And the school song
I guess we will never forget these….
Nor the hymns…..
